Principal's Message
Dear Royal Families,
Our State testing has gone well this week. Our sixth graders who don't need makeups are completely finished and will resume regular core classes (both in-person and virtual) next Tuesday/Wednesday. Their 6th grade explore classes will resume on Thursday/Friday. Seventh and Eighth graders will resume both Core and Exploratory classes according to their regular schedule beginning Thursday/Friday of next week. We know the changes this week had some challenges, and we thank you for reaching out to us with your clarifying questions!
Virtual 8th Graders: On Monday, April 19th virtual 8th grade students will take the Science portion of the CMAS test. We will test them in the library and be able to adhere to all of the layers of protection. Please have your child here by 8:45 am to start the test at 9:00 am. Students will be able to communicate with their parents before they begin their last test with an estimated pick up time. If your child brought their own lunch on Monday, 3/29, then they will do the same on Monday, 4/19. If they ate lunch provided from the school, we will provide lunch for them.
Attendance: Please continue to call in your student's absences. All absences, even absences for remote classes, need to be called in using our attendance line, 303-655-6950. Thank you so much for your help with this.
We appreciate you and thank you for your partnership! We hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to enjoy the spring weather!

https://sd27j.zoom.us/j/9133526324627J Transportation for 2021-2022 School Year
We are inviting anyone who may require transportation in 2021-2022 to register for busing through FamilyID today.
- Important: All current bus riders must re-register for the upcoming school year. Registration information does not carry over from year to year.
By registering now, you will secure your spot for next year, allow us to determine ridership numbers, and help us best plan bus routes for the upcoming school year. While we cannot guarantee that all COVID guidelines, set forth by Tri-County Health and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE), will be lifted by the start of the 2021-2022 school year, we continue planning forward through the end of this year and into the next, as we all look forward to a safe return to full, in-person learning.
Transportation is provided to students within their school boundary area. If you are new to the district or unsure of your home boundaries, please contact Sandy O'Shaughnessy at 303-655-8998.
Don’t delay! Register today!

27J Online Academy Applications
27J Schools understands that over the course of the past year, some of our students have acquired a preference for online learning over in-person learning and would like to continue along this educational pathway.
In order to meet the needs of every student, 27J Schools has created an Online Academy to best serve the learning needs of students who prefer this mode of education.
If your student(s) is interested in enrolling in our new Online Academy, please take a moment to complete and submit an application. Only completed applications will be considered for enrollment. A separate application must be completed for each student you would like to attend 27J's Online Academy.
