September 19-Mariner Matters

Shout out!

Shout out to Ms. Bowling for leading Boosterthon. Everyone for a great open house last night! Shout out to the specialist team for a smooth child care operation during open house.

Welcome to Beverly Rhodes, our new part-time EC instructor. She is sharing a room with Nancy Lepine.

United Way

Don't forget to give to the United Way. We want to meet our goal of $1,000.

It Takes a Village Award

Please don't forget to nominate a colleague for the It Takes a Village Award. This is awarded to someone that has helped you in or outside the classroom with one or more of your students.

Donors Choose

Please be careful when you are wording your request for Donors Choose. There have been instances where teachers have accidently given out confidential information regarding EC issues or how much money teachers get per class.

Don't forget about the Chatham Education Foundation grant along with Bright Ideas. I think Bright Idea may be due on Friday!

Playground supervision

Thank you so much for most grade levels spreading out while students are on the playground. From this point forward I will just contact the grade levels that are not spreading out. Please reiterate playground expectations to students, particularly sportsmanship expectations if organized games are involved. Teachers should always be near any piece of equipment that students are on.

Science Resource for 3-5

The district has paid for this resource. K-2 if there is something that you could use for STEM or another topic please feel free to use.

The ipad card can be checked out through me. It has 30 ipads and 4 ozmos on the cart.
