In K-1st:
- I can solve coding puzzles that allow me to practice the following skills: sequencing, flexible sequencing, repetition, conditional loops, debugging, pattern recognition, conditional logic, and event handling.
- I will apply my coding skills in free-form coding studios where I will build my own projects with art, music and animation.
In 2nd:
I can solve coding puzzles that allow me to practice the following skills: sequencing tasks, using loops for repetition, conditional logic, using automation, and recognizing patterns, debugging programs, problem-solving.
As I go through my coding adventures in this introduction to basic programming, I will solve coding puzzles and get familiar with basic programming concepts such as sequencing, conditions and repetition using loops.
In 3rd-5th:
I can solve coding puzzles that allow me to practice the following skills: sequencing, repetition, events, conditional logic, animation, pen drawing, drawing shapes and patterns, playing musical notes, sending and receiving messages, handling user input, and color detection.
I will progress through the lessons learning concepts in a game-like interface.
I will create interactive stories, animations, and mini-games and will be able to build a wide variety of simple programs with events, loops, and some conditional logic.
