A Message from our School Nurse
As we have returned to school, we are sharing more than just smiles! Here is a friendly reminder of our illness policy. Please contact Nurse Usry with any questions.
Students should not be in school if they have the following:
- A fever of 100.4 degrees or greater
- Vomiting or diarrhea because of illness
- An unknown rash or possible contagious condition
- Flu-like illness (with or without fever) – headache, fatigue, cough, aches, weakness and sore throat
- COVID positive result- student should remain home for 5 days from first symptom (recommended masking for 5 additional days upon return to school)
A child should be free of symptoms of contagious disease (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, suspicious rash, etc.) for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to school.
