Hallucinogens is a category of drug, taking a drugs under this category will give you the illusion that an item that something is there when really not present. Some effects of hallucinogens are dizziness and sleeplessness, numbness and weakness, increased blood pressure, heart rate and body temperature will be increased too. Some examples of drugs that fall under the category of hallucinogens are LSD, Magic Mushrooms, Mescaline, and Ketamine.

People take hallucinogens for a variety of reasons, a couple of those reasons are for religious rituals to see spirits, the more recent reason people use hallucinogens is to help them with stress and to sometimes have fun. Doctors use hallucinogens on patients too believe it or not, ayahuasca is what they use it for, it supposedly treats diseases. You can also get help if you want to stop taking drugs, there are many places that can help you. Places like "National Institute on Drug Abuse" and "Central Registry of Drug Abuse" and many other places that can help you with your problem.
