Responsibilities:

  • Carries out the direction of the teacher which may
    include:
  • Supervision of small groups of children.
  • Working with individual children.
  • Assisting the staff with snack, lunch, and clean up.
  • Assisting the children with hygiene needs (i.e., tooth
    brushing, hand washing).

Schools that work for children

Both schools are located within 3 miles of each other in the Independence community, where both schools use many outside resources to enhance the learning styles for all children on an individual learning experience. Central Tangi Head Start is an NACEY accelerated program with a 5 STAR rating scale. Both schools work on 21st Century Learning Skills that prepare children for the present and the future.
