ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 20-24, 2018
PTA Membership: If you have not joined the PTA, please consider doing so as soon as possible. You are only eligible for the GENEROUS stipend for school supplies available each year if you are a member. You can join online or by writing a check to the PTA. The dues are $8 for individuals and $15 for families. For those that have joined PTA purchase receipts for reimbursements are due October 31st.
Interims: Interims for Tracks 3 and 4 should go out on Tuesday, August 28th.
Mandatory Intervention Meeting: There will be an intervention team grade level meeting on Tuesday, August 28th at 8:00 AM in the media center. There are new things to discuss (kid-talk) and the Intervention Team will be available to answer questions.
PDPs and Observations: Please make sure that you have completed your Initial PDP and your training date/self-assessment as it was due last Friday. Please make sure you have “shared” or “marked complete” anything you complete so that there is a GREEN CHECK. The GREEN CHECK means we can see it and respond in NCEES. Otherwise, it shows that you haven’t completed the task. Lara and Kevin will be contacting you to discuss your final initial PDP.
Lunch Schedule: Ms. Johnson and Ms. Narvaez have switched lunch duty times.
Blood Borne Pathogens/Injuries: If a child is bleeding or sustains a trauma (head injury, serious contusion) at any time, please contact the office. If there is blood or trauma, do not send another child with the student as an escort, but rather, call the office for help. For minor injuries (without blood) the child can come on his/her own or with a student escort if appropriate.
Labor Day: There is no school on Monday, September 3rd. Enjoy the long weekend.
