Friday, Nov. 12th, 8:30am-2:30pm

Apply To College Day is an opportunity for seniors to work on and submit their college applications, apply for scholarships, work on the FAFSA, and ask all the questions that may still be lingering regarding the college application process.
If your senior would like assistance with the college application process and/or financial aid, please ask them to stop by the Counseling Office and sign up. Space is limited and students are required to register in advance. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, November 10th.
NOTE: Notifications were sent through CTLS Parent and reminders to students are made daily during the afternoon announcements.

Below are instructions for your student to register for college rep visits:
- Log into your Naviance account
- Click "Colleges" at the top of the home screen
- Click "College Visits" under the "Research Colleges" section
- Register for the colleges he or she is interested in
The student will receive an email confirmation. It is critical that the student has an accurate email in their Naviance profile (instructions to update the student email address can be found in our 11th & 12th Grade PowerPointment presentation on our website under Important Updates).
Currently, we have the following colleges/universities that have signed up and are ready to meet with our students. Students are encouraged to check their Naviance accounts regularly to see the colleges and universities that scheduled a visit to Sprayberry HS.
- University of Kentucky - November 10 @ 1:10 PM
- Young Harris College - November 17 @ 1:10 PM
The last day of AO will be Wednesday, November 17th. All college visits will re-convene when we return in January. Stay tuned!
DON'T DELAY, SIGN UP TODAY!
*NOTE: Cobb County School District assigned every student with a Naviance account. If your student does not recall their username and/or password, the student needs to send an email to their assigned counselor.
Select your fair and register. There is no charge to attend; however, pre-registration is required.
ParentVUE and StudentVUE
IMPORTANT: As we near the end of the Fall semester, it is critical that students continue to check and monitor their grades in StudentVUE.
You are able to monitor your student's grades and attendance through ParentVUE. For assistance with ParentVUE, please send an email to our ParentVUE coordinator, Michelle Pace, at email@example.com. In your email, please include your student's first and last name as well as their student ID (lunch number).
Please encourage your student to monitor his or her grades regularly through their StudentVUE account. If your student needs assistance accessing their StudentVUE account, he or she can send an email to our media specialist, Paula Axford, at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email, your student must include their first and last name as well as their student ID (lunch number).
Helpful Articles and Resources
Mental health has only become more important and more fraught as the pandemic has confined children to their homes and limited their social interactions.
While in-person activities may be billed as a "return to normal," it also brings with it the uncertainties of social interactions with which children have been out of practice.
