End of Year Update

Important Information for closing out 2020-2021!

Important Dates - Mark Your Calendars!

June 2021

  • June 11 - Deadline for selecting Grade 5 & 6 Elective Courses
  • June 15 - Grades 4 & 5 Field Day Fun Day
  • June 17 - UES Laptop Collection for In-Person Students
  • June 17 - Early Dismissal - 12:35 PM
  • June 17, 18 & 21 - Choice Remote Student laptop return at MHS
  • June 18 - Last Day of School - Early Dismissal - 12:35 PM
  • June 18 - Grade 6 Clap Out - Students & Staff Only
  • June 18 - UES Report Cards go live after 3:00 PM

Choice Remote Student Laptop Return

Choice Remote students must return their laptops to the High School (NOT UES) as follows:
  • June 17 & 18 - between 12:15 PM and 3:30 PM
  • June 21 - between 12:00 PM and 7:30 PM

The laptop return station will be curbside at the front of the High School. Students must return laptops, power cords, and any accessories that may have been issued (i.e. mouse, headphones, etc.) Keep in mind that students will still need to join class on Friday, June 18, for the last day of school.

Notes:

  • ALL students should keep their laptop bags and be prepared to utilize them again for the 2021-2022 school year.
  • Students who are registered for Summer ESY or Summer Engagement may keep their laptops until the end of July.

CHOICE Remote UES Materials Drop off and Pick Up

If your Choice Remote child has any UES issued textbooks or materials, they must be returned to the UES as follows:
  • Wednesday, June 16, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
  • Thursday, June 17, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM

Drop off and Pick up will be at the front of the building on the above dates unless otherwise arranged by your child's teacher. Please clearly label all materials with your child's FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, & TEACHER

In-Person Student Laptop Return

In-Person students must return their laptops to the UES on Thursday, June 17.

Students must return laptops, power cords, and any accessories that may have been issued (i.e. mouse, headphones, etc.)

UES Yearbooks!

UES Yearbooks will be distributed as follows:

Grade 6 - June 11


  • All Grade 6 Students will be issued pre-ordered yearbooks.
  • Choice Remote students may pick them up at Field Day or in the vestibule.
  • A limited supply of extra yearbooks will be on sale from 8:00 to 8:30 AM in the Main Lobby. Yearbooks are $16 and sales are cash only.

UES Mask Information

For the remainder of the school year the UES will use the following guidelines for masks:

  • Flexible mask policy when outdoors for breaks. Students may choose to remove masks.
  • Flexible mask policy when on school busses. Students may choose to remove masks.
  • Flexible mask police for outdoor PE classes and activities. Students may choose to remove masks.
  • ALL Staff and Students MUST wear masks when indoors. Mask breaks will be given as appropriate.
