Ozone Depletion

What is Ozone Depletion

Ozone depletion describes two distinct but alike phenomena observed since the late 1970s, a steady decline of about 4% in the total volume of ozone in Earth's stratosphere or the ozone layer, and a much larger springtime decrease in stratospheric ozone around Earth's polar regions. If this keeps going on we will all get skin cancer!! So stop using spray containers, and stop the hole!!

Harmful facts for Ozone Depletion

According to www.nationalgeographic.com there is widespread concern that the ozone layer is deteriorating due to the release of pollution containing chemicals such as chlorine and bromine. This deterioration allows large amounts of ultraviolet B rays to reach Earth, which can cause skin cancer and cataracts. This can also harm animals as well.
