Google Forms & Flubaroo

Google Forms can be used for so many things in the classroom. Click here to see 5 ways teachers could use Forms and save time.

I used a Google Form when I sent you the Technology Inventory request. As you answered the questions, those responses fed into a spreadsheet that was automatically created for me in Google Drive so I could easily sort and submit the report to the administration office.

There are so many ideas for Google Forms on Pinterest, including how to create a test and have an add-on called Flubaroo grade it for you. Click here to learn how to create the test in Google Forms and use Flubaroo to grade automatically.

I hope Google Forms can help you in your classroom.

International Dot Day--Sept. 15th

International Dot Day is named for the classic Peter H. Reynolds storybook The Dot. The book shares the story of a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after a caring teacher challenges her to “make her mark.” What started as a story in the pages of a book is transforming teaching and learning around the world as people of all ages re-discover the power and potential of creativity in all they do. Get Started! Get Inspired! Get Connected! Click here to sign-up and take part in International Dot Day.

Message from the Director

Hello CISD! September is here and hopefully you have had a great start to the school year.

Anytime you need to go back and review one of the monthly newsletters, I have archived all the Tech Bytes on the CISD Technology webpage. Just click here to access any of them at any time, any where you have internet access.

I also want you to know that I am available if you ever want to come by and visit me regarding technology in any way for your classroom. Or I can come see you on your conference period. Of course, most of your wants/needs will need to be approved by your campus principal, but I can offer suggestions that are doable for you and your students.

Have a great month!
