Affidavits of Residency are Due December 18th
The Coweta County School System requires 2017-18 Affidavits of Residence from all parents or guardians of children enrolled in Coweta County Schools. The affidavits must be completed and filed with schools by Monday, December 18, 2017. Affidavits are printed on yellow paper and were sent home earlier. An online, printable copy of the 2017-18 affidavit can also be found at the school system’s website (www.cowetaschools.net) or can be picked up at any Coweta school. Amy Brandon, PTSO President
Welcome to Madras! The purpose of our PTSO is to help improve our school by combining the efforts of parents, students, and teachers. We invite you to join PTSO to help make our school a better place to work and learn! Our fundraising efforts have benefited a variety of projects in the past including school building improvements, teacher instructional requests, equipment for the fine arts department, instructional technology purchases, and athletic programs. This year, our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase an electronic sign in front of the school to replace the old signage. We hope to reach this goal by the end of the school year. We ask that each family join PTSO with a $12.00 contribution. (Checks should be made payable to Madras PTSO.)
We also need your volunteer time! If you are interested in assisting with any of the areas below, please print the form below linked beneath, and indicate in the appropriate section. Return the form to the MMS front office or to your child's homeroom teacher. You will be contacted as the events take place.
There are many opportunities to serve through PTSO:
- Snack n Chat (Monthly)
- School Store (rotational schedule

Thanks in advance for your support!
Box Tops Update
By Gina Johnson, PTSO Box Top Coordinator
October BoxTops Update
The students and faculty did a great job clipping and turning in BoxTops for thefirst collection period! So far, $815.00 will go towards the Madras school fund! Congrats to Mrs. Shaw's homeroom - they were the winner of the Chick-Fil-A breakfast.
Reminder:
Only BoxTops that have not expired will count.
BoxTops can simply be placed in a baggie, but the baggie should be labeled with the student’s name and homeroom to get credit.
Keep those BoxTops coming in! Thank you for thinking of Madras by remembering to clip those BoxTops! Download the BoxTops app or visit the BoxTops website http://www.boxtops4education.com/ for contests and more ways to earn for our school!
