IC Welcomes Benedictus Ayi Adjanoh

We would like to welcome Benedictus Ayi Adjanoh as our summer seminarian. Benedictus spent some time getting to know our students.

Fourth Grade Wax Museum

2023 wax museum
Our Fourth graders did an OUTSTANDING job last week presenting their chosen Ohioan, scientist, or inventor. The students had to research, write, and prepare a short speech about their person. The students were extremely well prepared and looked so believable as they were waiting for spectators to come press their button which begins their speech.

2023-24 Tuition

Tuition information for the 2023-24 school year was shared last Wednesday. If you are interested in possibly reducing your tuition total, please do the following:

  1. Apply for the Parish Grant (formerly called the parish subsidy). The link to that application is in the FACTS Family Portal under Web Forms. You must apply for the Parish Grant every year. The deadline to apply for the Parish Grant is Friday, June 2, 2023. Please apply asap.
  2. Apply for the FACTS Grant and Aide. The original deadline was March 15; however, the parish office has extended that deadline to May 31, 2023. This is another way to apply for additional tuition assistance. FACTS Grant and Aide is something that must be submitted each year also.

The link to apply for FACTS Grant and Aide is https://online.factsmgt.com/aid

If you have any questions, please contact John Bernard, the parish business manager. His email is jbernard@iccols.org, or call the parish office at (614) 267-9241. The parish business office will handle all tuition-related requests/functions for the school.

Mentor Families Needed For 23-24 School Year

Big picture
As we welcome new families to Immaculate Conception, we are in need of current families to welcome and be a point of contact for through the HASA Mentor Program. The need is great this year, particularly in the junior high grades, with the closing of St. Anthony school. Please help them transition to our community. Once you are matched with a family, we will provide you with contact information and some suggested points to highlight about upcoming activities, etc. Signup at: Immaculate Conception HASA: Immaculate Conception Mentor Families (signupgenius.com). Questions? Contact Krista Richardson (kristamrichardson@yahoo.com).

Congratulations to Danielle Culbertson, Kevin Davis, and Andrea Hirsch who have been elected to our School Advisory Board for the 2023-24 school year.

Preschool Corner

It has been a remarkable journey filled with growth, joy, and cherished memories. We are immensely proud of the progress our little learners have made and the community we have built together. To our beloved students, you have brought endless laughter, wonder, and inspiration into our lives. Watching you grow, develop new skills, and embrace the joy of learning has been an absolute privilege. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and kindness have brightened our days and reminded us of the incredible potential within each and every one of you. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the wider community of Immaculate Conception. Your support, generosity, and active involvement have enhanced the preschool experience for our students. We wish you all a wonderful summer filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with your loved ones. May this break serve as a time of rejuvenation and reflection for everyone. We eagerly look forward to the start of a new school year!

Thank you once again for your unwavering support and for entrusting us with your most precious treasures. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your children's lives.
