Young Adult Bible Study
The Young Adult Ministry at St. Benedict Parish (Canandaigua | Bloomfield) is offering a virtual bible study this fall. The bible study begins Sunday, September 12 and will focus on the Book of Romans before moving on through the rest of the New Testament. Young adults will read 4 chapters/week (Sunday to Sunday) at their own pace after which they will have the opportunity to share their thoughts with the group and engage in dialogue with each other if they feel called to. Those interested in participating can access the Google Classroom platform here. It is formatted for grading assignments, so please ignore that. No grades. Everyone gets an A+! The hope is that after working through a few books, there will be a gathering in person to tie it all together and share a meal. For more information, email Ben here.
First Responders Mass
Sacred Heart Cathedral
4:00 p.m.
Join Bishop Salvatore R. Matano, as, in gratitude, we pray to God for the safety of all First Responders who so selflessly serve our community, and for all who served with courage in the tragic events of September 11, 2001, especially those who gave their lives or were injured.

Catholic Mothers Planner
Young adult moms often feel it's hard to meet the needs of their family, plan logistics, pray, and teach their kids about the Faith. The creators of the Catholic Mothers Planner are Catholic mothers themselves, and made this planner just for women like young adult moms. In this one-of-a-kind product, planning and prayer are blended together to integrate your life with prayer. The Catholic Mothers Planner is the perfect resource to help Catholic mothers stay organized and focus on God each and every day.
Our Lady of Sorrows Meditation
Fiat Project
The Fiat Project is a formation program for young adult women in their 20's and 30's who have a relationship with God but are ready to dive deeper. This program is designed to help women discover God’s will for them and discern their role in the church, no matter what their life vocation is. A team of the Salesian Sisters will be accompanying participants on the journey over the 8 months. Topics covered each month include Discerning the Call, Trusting God & Self-knowledge, Our Story as Salvation History, The Vocation to Marriage & Panel Discussion, Introduction to Religious Life, Holy Indifference & Overcoming Fears, The Vows, Community Life, and Stages of Formation, and Consecrated Life & Panel Discussion. There is no set cost to participate but a donation (suggested amount of $50 +) is encouraged. For more information and to participate, click here.
