Do states that allow citizens
to carry guns have higher or lower crime rates?
Changes how criminals behave
“When you allow people to carry concealed handguns, you see changes in the behavior of criminals," said the center’s president, John R. Lott, a Fox News contributor. “Some criminals stop committing crimes, others move on to crimes in which they don’t come into contact with victims and others actually move to areas where they have less fear of being
confronted by armed victims.”
confronted by victims can compact a crime in many way so the criminals try to avoid it. most people would like crime to stop, and this is one way to do it. less and less crime happens when people get guns in a specific area. "Murder Rate Drops as Concealed Carry Permits Rise, Study Claims"

For the people Defend them self’s
"Another motivation that is common is the “feel good” factor. I have encountered many gun control supporters that have their hearts in the right place. Unfortunately, they either don’t understand the reasons behind crime, they do not want to face the true causes of crime, or they feel helpless in their ability to respond. Therefore, they support unsophisticated gun control laws that have nothing to do with the criminals, but are instead focused on gun ownership, which few such gun control supporters can understand or comprehend. In doing so, they feel good about themselves and their one-dimensional accomplishments, but the reality is that such measures do not reduce crime and in fact probably causes an increase."
people like the 'feel good' factor" so they like to use the gun to make them feel good abut them self's and protected and when people get in a mood u cant stop them for nothing. People have felt that they cant do anything to stop the crime and with a gun they can. "Keep and Bear Arms"
