This is a fun chance to give your child a lasting legacy in their yearbook. Most of these ads include one or two photos and a dedication. Just decide the size of your ad (⅛ or ¼ page), include a *sketch if you wish (see below), then write your message (to avoid errors please print clearly) and choose which photo(s) you wish to include (photos can be emailed or scanned and sent to Mrs. Kailey. All baby ads must be paid for in advance, please include check or cash when you submit your pictures/ ad return form. Forms and pictures can be mailed to Will James, dropped at the front office, or brought directly to Mrs. Kailey in room 116. We appreciate your support! Keep in mind that we have limited space in the yearbook and ads will be published on a first come- first serve basis.

Drop off and Pick Up at Will James

After breaks, it is always good to review procedures and protocols around our building. One we would like to remind everyone of is our parking lot. We appreciate all you do getting your students to and from school, and know that we have a unique set up for vehicles to maneuver in our pull through parking lot as well as parking around the school area. To improve flow and safety, please have your student prepared in the vehicle upon drop off to eliminate a line hold up in car lines.

To help with our flow, please consider the following while dropping off or picking up your student:

  • If using our pull through parking, please utilize the lane closest to the sidewalk and pull as far forward as possible to drop off your student. Exit by pulling out to the exterior lane- this lane needs to keep moving. Please see the image below as the visual may help better understand the flow.
  • Parking is not permitted along the bike rack. We do have buses that need to exit from the back of the building. We have seen vehicles blocking the turn lanes for these buses by parking along the bike rack.
  • Avoid parking and waiting to drop your child off in the pull through lines as the weather has changed. This causes vehicles to back up into the street, and block the crosswalk. Please utilize our parking spots if you prefer to have your child wait in your vehicle until 8:00 when the first bell rings.
  • We are working with students to utilize the crosswalk appropriately, and to look both ways before crossing. If your child utilizes the crosswalk to access your vehicle, please remind them to look both ways, and wait for vehicles to stop before crossing.

Other places to park:

  • The LDS parking lot across the street from the school.
  • Park on Lewis, 30th street, Meadow View or Belvedere.

Cafeteria Use in the Morning:

  • Students may enter the building through the cafeteria beginning at 7:40 am to receive breakfast.
  • On cold days, all students are encouraged to enter the cafeteria and way for the first bell at 8:10 am.
  • Please refrain from parking in the morning by the cafeteria. That space is reserved for our staff members to park for the day.
