San Diego Mayor's CYBER CUP (CyberSecurity Competition)

There were over 64 teams participating this year at San Diego Mayor's Cyber Cup. Sweetwater Union High School District had four (4) teams. Three (3) of our teams are moving forward to the FINALS to be held on Saturday, April 2nd at the UCSD Super Computer Center. Go sweetCyber!!!

This past weekend, on March 12, 2016, eight (8) qualified SUHSD VEX teams participated in 2015- 2016 California VEX VRC High School State Championship in Pasadena, CA.

Montgomery High School’s 2nd annual STEM Night

Thursday, April 7th, 5-7pm

This is a free community event for all ages. Montgomery’s Exploring STEM Club will be putting on a night filled with interactive STEM activities including Non-Newtonian slime, a maker space wind tunnel, 3D printing, and much more. FLYER HERE

Art Lopez (SUHi) to the WHITE HOUSE

Our very own Mr. Art Lopez (Sweetwater High School CS Teacher) has been invited by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to participate in a meeting that is designed to help build President Obama’s call and educational initiative for Computer Science for All.
