Molly was a patriot who carried pitchers of water to the soldier and helped cannon duty during the American Revolution's Battle of Monmouth. She was born as Mary Ludwig in near Trenton on October 13,1754 and died in Carlisle on January 22, 1832. She was not married and had no kids. She is a American hero because she brought soldiers water and had cannon duty during the Revolutionary war
