I hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and spent some quality time with your loved ones. The Christmas holidays are approaching quickly!
This year is flying by so fast, it's hard to believe that we are in December already. It has been such an incredible school year so far, and I can't thank you enough for all of your support.
Please make sure that you read this newsletter carefully as there are many important dates that I don't want you to miss.

CBA testing information and schedules
CBA's are a formative way to measure student growth. Students will be setting individual goals prior to CBA 2. Please visit with your child about their goal and what steps they will be taking to meet that goal. Tutorials are targeted to specific student data.

Please visit with your child about UIL. This is a great program for kids to be involved in! We will begin the process of forming teams before the Christmas break. There will be an in-district meet in January and a District meet in Pine Tree during the month of March. Here are the events for each grade level.
4th Grade: Art, Chess, Music Memory, Number Sense, Oral Reading, Ready Writing, and Spelling
5th Grade: Art, Chess, Music Memory, Number Sense, Oral Reading, Ready Writing, Spelling, Dictionary Skills, Listening, Maps, Graphs and Charts, Social Studies
Victory Assembly- Friday, December 22nd at 10:00
Please look for a Pre-Print Visitor ID form to come home in next week's folder. If you plan on coming to the Victory Assembly, make sure that you send your Pre-Print info form back to school by December 18th. If you have not visited our campus this year, please drop by the campus and have your driver's license scanned prior to the 18th.

Student Attendance Incentives
*Every Friday there will be a drawing for one student per family that has been at school everyday that week. If their name is drawn they will receive a free sonic sundae pass.
*Classes with 100% attendance for the week will receive electronics time on Wednesdays.
Our campus is really working hard to win the Attendance Flag for the district! The winning campus will be announced on December 13th.
