News for TODAY in ETA
Week of November 8 - 12, 2021
Some Important Updates for our ETA Community
Thank you to all who joined us for the Corn Maize event yesterday. The students had a fabulous time and the hard work by the ETA Alliance volunteers was so appreciated. Thank you! There were over 100 people who attended the event and had fun. We have included some photos below.
Only two weeks left before our Thanksgiving break. This week, we honor our veterans for their many sacrifices that they have given so we can have the freedoms we enjoy today. Thank you to each of our veterans and their families. We honor you and appreciate your sacrificial service.
There are several recruiting events coming up for the magnet programs in NEISD. We will be at Bradley Middle School on November 15, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm sharing details about our program. If you have friends interested in joining the ETA program for this coming year, or in future years, please encourage them to head out and see the possibilities available. The application is now open for next year's students and here is a link to the application . Current ETA students do NOT need to reapply, but if you have friends who might be interested in joining our family, feel free to encourage them to apply.
Please review the additional updates and details included below. Mr. Lozano is still out of the office at this time and in his absence, if you need anything, please reach out to our DATA Director, Lori Murach, at lmurac@neisd.net. We look forward to another fantastic week. - Your ETA Team

Parents will also want to create the FSA ID for themselves before coming to one of these dates to make the process faster; it takes 3 days for the ID to get verified. Here are instructions on the FSA ID as well as the FAFSA if anyone would like to work on the FAFSA at home: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1x7S8Utahmq84kFnPeuofRvxe-WBa7lDdgOQggqDzQNw/edit?usp=sharing
