Updates for Special Education and Student Services

June 2019

It's Summertime

School is soon over and the summer will begin. Whether you are vacationing, stay-cationing , or just spending time at home, take some time to relax and recharge. Read a book, spend time on a hobby, and make time for one another. Summer is a wonderful time to regroup because school will be open again before you know it!

Updates from the School Nurse Department

Summer is the perfect time to get organized and make sure that your child has all of their requirements for the following school year, especially vaccinations, physicals, and dental exams. Please check out the UMTSD Nurse's Page for more information.

Our nursing staff will be available to accept medications for the 2019-2020 school year on August 28th and 29th. Please plan to bring any daily medication that your child requires to school on these days. All medications must be in their original containers and must be accompanied by a physician note and a parent permission form. If you have any questions, please contact your school nurse.
