Summer update Aug. 9, 2019
I hope you are having an absolutely fabulous summer! My summer was fun, but short, (see some fun pics below). Regardless, I am happy to be back and preparing for another year!
I'm pleased to announce we have a phenomenal first grade teacher added to our amazing teaching staff! Megan Rothery is coming to us from the St. Helen's School District and was the Dyslexia representative for her staff. She also worked with OEA in the area of Quality Assessment Practices and has many things she can share with our existing staff. Please join me in welcoming Megan to our school!
Rachel and her staff have been busily getting the school ready for all of you and it is looking really good! We will have the Glencoe Band here the next two weeks as they prepare their marching band for the fall season so that will bring much activity and music which will be fun. Suzanne starts back next week and the office officially opens on Aug. 15 at 8:00 AM. If you need something before then, be sure and call first to make sure someone is here.
Enjoy these last weeks of summer!
