Shout Outs
S. Bailey
Shoutout to Leigh, Wendy, Stacy, and Amanda for making it through their First Day of School Pool Party that Kristi took all the credit for... with smiles on their faces. ;)
Shout out to the entire Ebinport family for being so open and welcoming to all of the new to the building teachers. I know that it can be difficult to see so many new faces, but we were each greeted with smiles and genuine offers to help. Thanks for making this feel like home!
To ALL Eagle faculty and staff for being so helpful and welcoming!!! Thank you so much!!!

5th Grade Assembly: Game Day Give Back!
Next Friday, August 30th 5th grade will have an assembly from 9:15- 10:00am. We will be hosting Northwestern Football for their Game Day Give Back program.
During the assembly Coach Wofford will honor a 5th grader for displaying the "Win Today" characteristics throughout 4th grade and years prior. Coach Brownshield and I will be selecting the student. The student will also be honored on the field that same Friday night, August 30th around 6:30pm! If any teachers would like to go to the game to support the student, please let me know so that I can get your name added to the pass list. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Character Education SOAR
Next week we will be kicking off our Soar Character Ed throughout the week. Lesson 1 is on Identifying Feelings. While the lessons are quick and ready to go, please take a little bit of time beforehand to go over the lesson and see how you might need to tailor it to your class. Kindergarten through 2nd grade, feel free to tweak things to make the lesson fit for your students. Use these lessons as a guide and a blueprint as you teach Character Ed, but don't feel like you have to stick exactly to the script.

K-2 Report Cards and Progress Reports
It is with great excitement we let you know that the new format for K-2 Progress Report/Report Card is almost finalized with PowerSchool. PowerSchool (the company) is making the final tweaks at this time on their end.
As we move to PowerTeacher Pro for K-2, it is important that K-2 teachers only enter attendance in PowerTeacher Pro. No other information should be entered into the system until schools are notified.
