The Panther Prowl
5/8/23
Thanks PTA and Parents!
The teachers enjoyed Teacher Appreciation week last week! Thanks to all the good sweet and salty snacks that were brought in! We have the greatest PTA and Parents!
Author's Among Us!
Mrs. Connery's classes took on an amazing assignment to publish a book. They chose the topic of the book, spent weeks, writing, editing, and rewriting their stories, and then completed an illustration to go with their story. The final result was a published book! Mrs. Connery and the Administration are so proud of these students. A copy of the book can be found in our school library for all students to read.
End of Year Wrap-up!
As the end of the school gets closer, we want to remind parents and students about some important deadlines!
- All library books and chromebooks are due by Wednesday the 10th to avoid a fine!
- All fines must be paid in full before the last week of school.
- Clean out lockers! This includes any stickers or writing! If supplies are needed come ask at the office.
- Students won't be able to get their yearbooks at "early yearbook distribution" on May 23rd unless all fees are paid. Regular yearbook distribution is at the end of the day on the last day of school.

Art Opportunity
If you like doing art or would like to learn how, there is an art class available through part of the summer. The class teaches how to create the vision you have in your mind using your own style. The exercises are diverse and help you think outside of the box. It is Tuesday mornings in Springville or Monday evenings online. The class is taught by an artist who currently works for Lucasfilm Animation and Disney as an assistant technical director on their Star Wars tv shows. All skill levels are welcome. All you need is an iPad and a stylus (like an Apple Pencil). Check out sharpenedstylus.com or call Nathan Allen, the instructor, at 747-231-1178 for more details and to sign up.
