BGPS Annual Industry Fair on February 17
Students, families, and community members interested in exploring career opportunities are invited to attend the Battle Ground Public Schools’ Industry Fair happening Thursday, Feb. 17. The event will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium at Battle Ground High School off of Parkway Avenue.
Local employers representing the fields of manufacturing, technology, construction, education, engineering, retail, apprenticeships, transportation, government, and more will be in attendance and available to answer questions. There will also be a resume-building workshop from 3:00-6:30 p.m. in the high school Career Center. Experts will be available to help brush up on your existing resume or build a new one from scratch.
This year’s Industry Fair is sponsored by Battle Ground Public Schools in partnership with the City of Battle Ground, La Center School District, Goodwill Industries of the Columbia-Willamette, WorkSource of SW Washington, NEXT and Partners in Careers.
Per Washington Department of Health requirements, masks must be worn at all times while inside school buildings. The event will be set up to allow sufficient physical distancing between groups.
Join us for an educational evening at Battle Ground High School to learn about the many career opportunities in our region. Please contact career guidance specialist Kevin Doyle at (360) 885-6598 or doyle.kevin@battlegroundps.org with questions.
