Summer meals for students and familiesThere are several community resources where families can access free food during the summer even though school is out. Share Summer Meals: Meals are offered for kids and teens 18 years old or younger from June 26 through August 11. To find the site closest to you, you can also text FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304. Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington: Breakfasts and lunches for kids and teens 18 years old or younger at several school locations. Visit the BGC website for more information. | Immunizations for next yearAvoid the end of the summer rush and make sure your child’s immunizations are up to date. Students must have all of the required immunizations or an approved exemption before they start school. Some immunizations must be given weeks apart, so it’s important to start now. Washington state law requires that you show verification of your child’s required vaccinations before the first day of school.
