Class Mission
Our Week
What an amazing night we had Thursday! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate!! Thank you also for all the "teacher appreciation" you have shown me this week. It has been an AMAZING year and I can't believe it is almost over! I have enjoyed teaching each and everyone of your children. My hope is that they leave kindergarten with a love of school and learning and excitement to continue on in first grade!
This week we studied the author Robert Munsch in reading and did a lot of review in writing and math!
School Wide Information
From the cafeteria:
As charging is not allowed the last month of school, please ensure your student has enough money in their meal account to cover breakfast, lunch, and/or extra milk. A complimentary PB&J and milk is available for students not on free meals who forget their lunch money or packed lunch.
School Performance and School Improvement Plan
It is Schofield Elementary's goal to make sure more than 80% of students are proficient with Missouri Learning Standards for math and literacy. Please see this week's objectives to see how our class is working to achieve this goal.
Schofield's Attendance Goal
Our building level goal is 96% monthly attendance. Our school is at 96% attendance for this week.

Please send snack with your child or drop it off in the office by 1:45pm (12:00 on Friday) on your child's snack day. We love healthy snacks! Some great options are string cheese, apple sauce, fruit snacks, "cuties" (little oranges), cheeze-its, goldfish, etc. Individually wrapped is best! Drinks are not necessary, but if you would like to send a drink, please make sure it is individually wrapped (capri sun, etc.)
**Please do not send snacks with peanut butter in them/peanut products.
We celebrate birthdays during snack time, so on your child's birthday you are welcome to send in a "special" snack like cupcakes or cookies. Thank you!
