The Month in Review
Although November flew by, we remained quite busy. From initiating our reading promotion with Beanbright to arranging Skype sessions with Science experts for classes, we consistently tried to make the most of our remote learning experience.
#ReadGrateful Beanbright Challenge
From November 1st until November 30th, we encouraged students to participate in the #ReadGrateful challenge by logging their reading in Beanbright. Although this challenge is over, students should continue to log their minutes in Beanbright, and there will be additional challenges in the near future.
Skype a Scientist
To conclude the astronomy unit, Dr. Erica Hammerstein, astronomer, "paid a visit" to 6th grade students and science teachers. Students were engaged and asked Dr. Hammerstein phenomenal questions regarding the black hole. Kudos 6th grade students and teachers!
