The Food Drive is Coming!
We will be hosting our annual Food and Toiletry Drive the week of October 29th-November 2nd. All collections will go to the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency and the Caring Cupboard. Below is a list of suggested items from the food banks, but any non-expired non-perishables are greatly appreciated. Students will also be using their items to compete in a raffle put on by the teachers for some much-coveted items. You may view the prizes here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1EJOQqrzWUv9i2eyNQuV0PicDjcW8alUcQ57RTsbDroI/edit?usp=sharing. Advisories with the most items collected will also win a doughnut party sponsored by Martins. Please help us make this our most successful drive yet! The Positivity Project
Next week we venture into the character strength of perspective. It is also referred to as wisdom and is distinct from intelligence. People with this strength are sought out for advice because they see the big picture and can make sense of the world’s complexity. This strength of perspective gives individuals the ability to see to the heart of difficult matters and achieve clarity. Most importantly, they are honest and behave in an ethically consistent manner.
