A Weekly Look at Grant Elementary School & the Grant PTA
Week of September 9, 2019
A Message from Principal Grey
Dear Grant Community,
This Friday is our Grant School Family BBQ, Ice Cream Social and Book Fair Event! I would like to extend an invitation to each and every family to attend this fun community-building event at our school. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends and make new connections as well. Many of our amazing teachers will be serving up ice cream sundaes and a DJ will be there to play music and host games for students and families. To top off a great evening of dinner, dessert and dancing, stop by our book fair to say hello to Mrs. Crysdale and check out the fantastic selection of books we have available.
Looking forward to spending time with you all!
Ms. Grey

You will find the books for sale in addition to an e-wallet (a way to give your child money to buy some books without worrying about cash rolling around in backpacks and getting lost.
Back to School BBQ & Ice Cream Social, 9/13
*While you're on campus, please take a moment to check the lost & found rack outside the multi.
*There are still spots available! We need your help scooping ice cream, refilling topping bowls, keeping the lines moving and keeping things tidy. Here's the Sign-Up Genius and thank you for your support!
Join us for a meaningful evening talking about the ways in which we can care for our kids.
In an effort to raise awareness and better serve all students, we are looking forward to sharing with you the effects of ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences). Whether you’re volunteering in a classroom, facilitating a play date, or have experienced personal or family trauma, this evening is for you!
