Check out the new SRO Newsletter!
In an effort to keep you informed and be transparent about our program, I have attached a “SRO Newsletter” which provides some information on our program, some highlights of the past couple of months as well as some statistics from your School Resource Officers. The intent is to provide a glimpse into the important work these officers do every day, the relationships they build and impact they have in our schools. All of this work is done collaboratively to provide the safest environment possible for the over 8,000 students that attend ISD 709 schools. I hope you enjoy the newsletter and if there is anything you need, please reach out!
Thank you,
Sergeant Mike Jambor

Duluth East Students Re-Create Denfeld Clock Tower Arms
The Duluth East Skills USA team and the Advanced Engineering students completed the project this fall. The old arms were shipped to East and the students worked with instructor Don Simons to reverse engineer the stunning replacements. Recreated to the exact specifications, using the same type of wood, and identical to the original arms, the new ones were sent over to Denfeld last week and will be one of the final steps in the restoration project.
We are thankful for the opportunity for our students to show their skills in such a meaningful way! Way to go, Greyhounds!
