  • Instead of an Art Show this year we are having an Art Parade! Please see the flyer below for more information.
  • Spring pictures are scheduled for March 30th and 31st. Children will have free dress both days. Mrs. Bergner will send a schedule via email after spring break.
  • May crowning will look a little different this year, however, we are still planning to honor Mary by bringing flowers to the chapel. Please send a stemmed flower with your child on May 4th and 5th. The classes will visit the chapel with Mrs. Barbour during music to present their flowers to Mary.

Art Parade

Each child at ECDC has worked on several art projects this year with Mrs. Bergner. We would love to show you their creativity! All parents are invited to attend this outside event. Children will parade as a group at 9:30 am in the ECDC parking lot. Please plan to park on the north side of the lot, at the big school, or on the street, as the south half of the lot will be closed during the parade.

VBS/Totus Tuus

We are pleased to share Vacation Bible School and Totus Tuus will return to Christ the King this summer! Mark your calendar for July 26-30 as the week offers programs for children as young as three years old to high school students. Register here.

Vacation Bible School

Our VBS theme this year is “Around the World with Our Lady.” Each day, we will visit the various countries of Our Lady, Mother Mary, apparitions. Participants will also learn about the Rosary. There will be food, music, games and crafts all centered around Mother Mary. The week will be full of fun, fellowship and faith formation as we help children grow in their faith through love and devotion to Mother Mary.

  • Ages 3 to entering Kindergarten
  • 9 a.m. to noon each day (lunch not provided)

Totus Tuus
Similar to VBS, Totus Tuus provides religious education in a fun and engaging environment. The program's name is Latin for "Totally Yours" and was St. John Paul II's motto, taken from St. Louis de Montfort's "True Devotion to Mary." The program has a Marian focus, with a different theme every year that ties back into Marian devotions.

  • Grades 1-5 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, lunch not provided)
Children will learn how to pray, about the importance of prayer, explore the sacraments and discover how to participate more fully in Mass.
  • Grades 6-8 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, lunch not provided)
Designed for middle schoolers, students will strengthen their faith by focusing on prayer and meditation, small-group discussions, adoration, Mass and reconciliation.
  • High School Students (7 to 9 p.m.)
Designed for high schoolers, students will strengthen their faith by focusing on prayer and meditation, small-group discussions, adoration, Mass and reconciliation.
