ROCKLAND HIGH SCHOOL WEEKLY UPDATE

September 30, 2022

The Principal's Corner

On Tuesday, October 4th, term 1 progress reports will be available on the Aspen Student & Family Portal. Amazingly, we are almost 1/8 through the school year. We continue to be impressed by our student's focus and excitement within the classroom. Progress reports are a great opportunity to have conversations with your children, our teachers, and guidance staff to discuss academic performance so far this year.

As we prepare for the second half of term 1, I am a believer in the following strategies to position our students for success:

  1. Make sure you come to school every day on time.
  2. Come prepared for classes. Bring all the supplies you need and make sure you have completed all your homework.
  3. Get a good night's sleep.

Academic success is the product of a team effort from the student, staff, and family. Let's work as a family and staff to talk with each student (child) about their academic performance so far this year.
