SNAP is a government assistance program that helps millions of low income families across the United States. It stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Eligability
-Must have $2,250 in countable resources. Meaning bank accounts etc. but not property.
-20% deduction from earned income
-medical expenses for elderly over $35, not covered by insurance.
