CHROMEBOOK USAGE

Parents, please make sure your students have NO added apps on their ASD issued Chromebook--we will be taking time this week to check Chromebooks in class and anyone with items on their Chromebook that violate the signed user agreement may lose the use of their Chromebook--take care of it!

PEAKS TESTING

Parents,

You may opt your student out of PEAKS testing by emailing our counselors at Sloan_Pat@asdk12.org for 7th grade and Fullmer_Tirzah@asdk12.org for 8th grade.

Due to the length of testing and COVID mitigation planning, we do not have alternate classrooms for non-testing students.

If you are opting your student out of PEAKS testing, please have your student stay home on the following days:

7th grade students PEAKS testing: Monday April 12 - Tuesday April 13th
8th grade students PEAKS testing: Thursday April 15 - Monday April 19th

Non-testing students' attendance will be excused for these dates, and teachers will not require any additional work.

SUMMER SCHOOL

Gruening Families,

We are very excited to offer a summer school opportunity for Gruening students. Summer school for middle school students, including current 6th-grade students, will be offered at the Eagle River High School campus. This is an excellent opportunity for your student to improve a letter grade of “F” or “I” he or she may have received this academic year. Contact your student’s counselor (Dr. Pat Sloan for 7th grade students and Tirzah Fullmer for 8th grade students) to enroll your student in the upcoming summer school program.

Principal
