Students (& Staff) in Action!
A short month, but oh so many events!
Celebrations
During the month of December, the School Board honored all those involved with our field trip to the Sussex Armory. SSG Kevin Radke was responsible for coordinating the event on behalf of the WI National Guard. He worked with Ms. Kali Restivo, RMS Counselor, to bring our seventh grade this experience. He also included several high school mentors for our students. These HUHS students are part of the H-Club. In addition to these individuals, we also recognized our the two drivers for our transportation partner, GoRiteway, Paul Bernard and Hank Wallenkamp. The participation of all of these individuals helped make possible the leadership development of our students, contributing to their growth and development.
Spotlight on Learning: PBIS/CPS/eduClimber
Ms. Restivo, Ms. Scheider, Ms. Hedrick, Ms. D'Alessio, Ms. Siem, and Ms. Lewis presented to the board in December. These team members described the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), eduClimber, CPS, the training needed to implement these, the goals of each and how they work together/support each other to prevent unwanted behaviors. The team reviewed what the three Tiers of instruction and support look like, the similarities and differences between the buildings and how each building incorporates the strategies into their daily and weekly practices.
