A posting: threatening in nature
Montgomery High School
Dear Viking Family,
You may have heard of a posting that was threatening in nature of the overall safety at Montgomery High School. In accordance with our school safety plan, we began an immediate investigation in conjunction with the Santa Rosa Police Department. At this time, we have found no evidence to substantiate the threat.
If your child has any information about this threat, please have them speak to an adult on campus whom they trust.
For those of you who are not familiar with the STOPit app: Montgomery High uses a mobile phone app called STOPit for students and parents to report information anonymously. The app is available in the Apple or Google App stores. The website is www.stopitsolutions.com. Once downloaded, use the access code “MHVIKINGFAMILY”. Please use this anonymous reporting app to provide any information you may have to assist in the investigation.
We always take any threat to the safety of our students and staff seriously. If any new information is gathered, the school will continue to investigate with the SRPD. If you have any questions, please call the Main Office, at 890-3836, and speak with Ms. Aguiar or Ms. Mojica.
Thank you,
Randy Burbank
