TCA Times
Wayne Central Middle School Newsletter
November 4, 2016
Dear TCA Families,
Just a quick version of the newsletter this week. I hope everyone has had a great week. We are at the end of the first quarter and report cards will be generated this coming week. As part of our new school management system (SchoolTool), we have the capability of sending report cards electronically. Our High School will be utilizing this feature this year. I wanted to get a sense from our families on preference. Please take a quick minute to respond to the form below. This will help me gauge interest to determine if we should utilize this feature. There are certainly efficiency advantages to sending these electronically, but want to ensure that we are doing what works best for families.
Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up soon (November 17th). If you would like to schedule a conference, please contact your child's counselor or teacher to do so. We will be reaching out as well and getting these scheduled as needed. This is a great opportunity to come together as teams to close the loop between home and school and put measures in place to ensure our students' success. As always, we do not need to wait until this date to meet and will work with families to schedule meetings or conferences at your convenience.
Don't forget to set your clocks back this weekend. Enjoy the extra hour of sleep and have a fantastic weekend!
Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @WayneCentralMS to see some pictures and updates from around the school!
Sincerely,
Derek
