Groups

Group counseling allows students to receive peer support from others who share similar experiences. Students are encouraged to support each other while sharing coping skills and encouragement.

Safe Space

This group provides a safe place for students who identify as LGBTQIA to discuss any issues or concerns and to provide support to one another.

Group begins on 9/20 at 4:00pm and will meet every other Tuesday.

Survivors of Sexual Assault

This confidential Survivors Group is for individuals who are survivors of sexual trauma.

This is an open group which allows individuals to sign up at any time.

Group will meet every Wednesday at 4:00pm starting on 9/21/16.

Wellness Working Group (f/k/a Mind & Body Wellness)

Kim Scardina, LCPC from OSF Eating Disorders Program, will offer the Working Wellness group to Knox students. Formerly known as Mind and Body Wellness group, this biweekly group will cover a variety of topics including healthy eating, body image, media influence, and more.


This group will meet bi-weekly on Thursdays starting on 9/22/16 at Borzello Hall, Rm 116.

Addressing Reality

Hope Pendleton, local professional, will be offering a bi-weekly, confidential support group to Knox students who identify as African-American. The group is a safe and confidential space used to discuss real situations that affect the lives of African-American Knox students.


Group will begin on 9/28 and will meet every other Wednesday at Borzello Hall, Rm 116
