Minnehaha Children's Choir
Congratulations to the Minnehaha Choir on a fabulous first performance! We can't wait for more to come!!
Student Spotlight ~ Connor Vandelac
Teacher: Mrs. Bopp
Student's Accomplishment: Connor is an amazing kid! Not only is he a math whiz, but he has made more progress in reading in one year than any student I have ever worked with. This is due to Connor's work ethic and determination. He is also very kind, honest, and an excellent artist. With so many talents, I can't wait to see what the future holds for him!
Staff Spotlight ~ Ann Ferrari - Title One Teacher
Education: BA from the University of St Thomas
About Me: I taught all grades from Kindergarten through 6th for over 3 decades. I’ve been a teacher in public, charter, and Catholic schools. I really enjoy spending time traveling with my husband and two daughters!
Hobbies: I enjoy playing the piano and the harp. I enjoy playing tennis with friends, hiking, biking, fishing, and going for long walks. I like to garden, cook for family and friends, go to concerts, and read a good book.
Why Did You Go Into Education: After being a camp counselor in Alaska for a couple of years, I realized I enjoyed working with kids more than I enjoyed working toward a college degree in Finance.
What Do You Enjoy Most About the Minnehaha: One of the reasons I have been an elementary teacher for so long is that I love the positive energy I get from working with children. At Minnehaha, the kids are full of energy! I enjoy their enthusiasm, curiosity, sense of humor, and willingness to work together and support each other!
