Turkey Trot
The Town's third annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, Nov. 25 at Raider Stadium!
Runners are encouraged to begin arriving at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m.
T-shirts:
- If you pre-ordered a Turkey Trot t-shirt, please visit the staff table at the Turkey Trot to pick it up.
- The Town ordered a limited number of additional t-shirts in various sizes. Those t-shirts will be available at the Turkey Trot for a $25 donation to the Sunnyvale Animal Shelter.
Bibs and Medals:
- If you were one of the first 200 attendees to register for the Turkey Trot, you will receive a runner's bib and a medal. Please visit the staff table to pick these items up prior to the start of the race. If you are unsure if you have a bib or medal reserved for you, please visit the staff table to check. For reference, the 200th attendee registered at 7 a.m. on Nov. 16.
As of Wednesday, Nov. 25, 380 attendees have signed up for the Turkey Trot! This is our largest attendance yet.

Town holiday schedule
Town of Sunnyvale facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.

- For all other emergencies, please utilize 9-1-1
Business will resume on Monday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m.

Holiday trash schedule
Republic Services will not collect trash on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 25.
Residential:
Recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 26.
Solid waste will be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Upcoming construction on Tripp Road
The Town is anticipating construction on Tripp Road for the culvert replacement to begin on Dec. 1. Message boards have been placed on Tripp Road to advise the public of the impending road closure. Please plan an alternate route. Individual notifications to nearby property owners and residents are underway.
