School should start later
Starting early makes students unhealthy and get a low grade.
Why should school start later?
School should start later because it's better for their mental and physical health. Start times can have dramatic effects on improving teen's health and grades. The lack of sleeping in adolescents causes poor academic performance and proposes a serious public health concern. Sleep-deprived teens tend to eat more carbohydrates and fats.Students are also more likely to suffer from depression and have suicidal thoughts.
Teens are not getting enough sleep
The American Academy of pediatrics is recommending that we should start middle and high schools no earlier than 8:30 A.M. Studies showed that parents send sleepy teens out out on the street as early as 5:30 A.M. When you send a sleepy teen out on the streets at 5:30 they have more of a risk to get into a car accident. Teens need at least 9-10 hours of sleep per night. Most teens get and average of 7 hours per night.
School Board must listen to Parents!!!
Alarm clock

Sleepy dog

School starts to early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If school starts later, will it effect our schedule and grade?
Yes and no. It will affect our grade in a good way, but it will affect our schedule in a bad way. We would be more active and we would think better. Then we would get a better grade. The schedule would be affected badly because If it starts later, it will end later. Then it would affect other after-school activities.
