Dear Parents and Guardians,
Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 71, Section 37O requires schools to take active steps to prevent and respond to bullying. The District’s Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan was first developed in 2011 in consultation with stakeholders, including parents and guardians, school administrators and staffs, professional support personnel, volunteers, community partners, local law enforcement, and students. The Superintendent or designee is charged with reviewing and updating this Plan biennially.
The Plan has been updated and ready for your review and comment. Please find attached a copy of the proposed Plan. Your feedback is valued and welcomed. Please provide your comments through this online form. This online form will be available until Tuesday, June 21.
If you would like a paper or translated version of the plan or feedback form, please contact Mike Chan at 617-264-6498 or michael_chan@psbma.org
Best,
Casey Ngo-Miller
Deputy Superintendent for Student Services
