Senior News
Please inform your counselor if you have changed your post-graduation plans. Final transcripts will be sent by July 1 to the college you indicated on your Senior Survey.
Junior News
Junior Counselor Meetings
Counselors will continue with Junior College meetings through the end of May. If you haven't signed up yet please do so as soon as possible. Parents are also invited to attend these meetings. In a study published by the National Association for College Admissions Counseling students who meet one-on-one with a school counselor are 6.8 times more likely to complete a FAFSA, 3.2 times more likely to attend college, and 2 times more likely to complete a Bachelor's program. The Kennedy Catholic Counseling Department is hosting the Jesuit Excellence Tour on Tuesday, May 23, from 9:00 to 9:30 in the Gym. All juniors will attend. The following colleges will be in attendance:

College Case Study for Juniors and Parents
Kennedy Catholic hosted the Third Annual Puget Sound Catholic Schools Case Studies program with eight other Catholic High Schools on Thursday, April 27. This event is one of the most powerful programs for students and parents to learn about the nuances of the college application review process. We had over 250 students and parents attend this event. We also had 43 college represented involved in the case study process. There was a college fair after the case study presentations, which allowed colleges to share information and answer questions about their respective colleges. Participating colleges included:

Sophomore News
Sophomore Class Presentations
Counselors visited the sophomore biology classes during the week of April 24. Students completed the Strengths Explorer and Multiple Intelligence Assessments and researched matching careers.
