Each month, you can expect a newsletter from the 6th grade team with important dates and what the students are learning in each of their core classes. They all worked so hard to finish up the 2nd quarter!

What We're Learning
🌎 In Social Studies 🌏
Students are currently studying Early Humans.
To supplement this at home, we encourage you to watch the linked Stories of the Stone Age Documentary with your student: Link to video (There are more episodes. Let us know if you would like us to share them.)
Soon we will begin the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia.
Before this, will we introduce a learning concept to help students understand civilizations called GRAPES. This is broken down as: G:Geography, R:Religion, A: Achievements, P:Politics, E:Economics, S:Society.
We Review Vocabulary Terms on a daily basis.
