CRUSADER CONNECTION: September 2020 Edition

Welcome Back!!!!

Welcome Back to the 2020-2021 school year. It has been a long 5 months that we have been apart. We have been together for two weeks and three days, but who is counting. We are thankful for everyday we are in session together. We are looking forward to great things this year. The theme for the school year comes from Ephesians 6:10-18, "The Armor of God". Each month we will focus on a different part of the armor. For the month of September we will be learning about the belt of truth. We are excited to see what God has to show us through these scriptures and through the various speakers at chapel throughout the year.

Just like last year, I will be sending a monthly newsletter at the beginning of the month via email. I will also do a weekly preview on Sunday evenings via Facebook. Make sure you like our NHCS Facebook page so you can stay update on all that is happening at our school.

If you ever have questions about something going on around the school, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

It's going to be a great year!!

Just a reminder to do the self assessment daily before sending your child(ren) to school. This is critical in keeping everyone safe and our school out of quarantine. If the office has to send your child home for any reason, you will not be allowed to return to school until they are symptom free without fever reducing medication for 72 hours. If a doctor sees your child and decides they are cleared to return to school, they may return with a signed and dated doctor's note before the 72 hour time period.

Click below for a list of symptoms.

Drop Off and Pick Up Updates

Starting Wednesday, September 2, we will not start dismissing students until 3:15. We have transitioned into cutting into the line to get you to the door that you need. The only reason that you need to go all the way down to Door A is if you have a Kindergartner through 2nd grader. If you only have a drop off or pick up for Door C, you may also cut in. We ask that you continue to pay attention to your surroundings. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. I or another staff member will continue to be outside directing traffic. Preschool parents will be joining the rotation on September 8, so give them some grace as the figure out the routine. :)

Cross Country Schedule

We are excited to finally have a Cross Country Schedule.
