Remote Learning Continues!
This link: The Phase II: Learning & Essential Services, will be updated weekly. This is the location to access the remote learning resources. Find the grade level band and click on the plus sign and then go from there. Look carefully for short videos that will help you, as a parent, navigate the specific grade level materials. Information for accessing MyApps is also contained in the same area. Most of our students are familiar with the MyApps screen. Extra reading resources are available too. If you need other extra learning resources, look on the right hand side of the website under Additional Learning Resources.
Please use your best judgement when planning your child’s schedule for the day. Your child’s teacher will be available for you to contact between 9:00 am & 11:00 am each day via phone, email or possibly Google Hangouts. Your child can work on the remote learning lessons at a time that makes sense to you. I realize that you may be working from home and that you may have more than one child at home. Again, use your best judgement when providing structure for your student. As teachers, we use the phrase Monitor and Adjust to make decisions about instruction and learning. You are your child’s first teacher and you have an instinctive ability to read situations and make adjustments. You already know that and do that in many ways but just in case you felt like you needed it you have permission from the school Monitor and Adjust at home!
Here is the Learning Packet pick-up schedule for the following Mondays (April 20, 27, May 4, May 11 & May 18):
- 9:00-11:00
- 1:00-3:00
Pull into the main parking lot and pull forward to the bench right before the crosswalk. Stay in your car until the packet has been placed on the pick-up table.
