River City Showcase - January 16th

Join the MHS Show Choirs Encore! and River City Rhythm (RCR) at the annual River City Showcase Show Choir Invitational on Saturday, January 16th at Central Middle School!

See fantastic show choirs from Iowa and surrounding states, enjoy tasty concessions and support the MHS Show Choirs in a fun atmosphere! Volunteers are still needed--please contact Jonathan Ryan if you are interested @ jonathan.ryan@mcsdonline.org.

There will be a public premiere for RCR on Monday, January 11 in the MHS Auditorium. Doors will open at 8 PM with the performance starting at 8:30 PM. This year's theme is Masquerade. Free will donations will be accepted with proceeds going towards an overnight stay during their Broadhead, WI competition.

MHS Bowling

Muskie Girls Undefeated


The Varsity girls beat Davenport Central Tuesday night with total pins of 2911 to 2476. Christin Swank shot her season best two-game series with games of 235 and 226 for a 461 series. Ragan Carey had games of 215 and 175 for a 390 two game series.


The Varsity boys also beat Davenport Central with a total of 2838 to 2699. Jon VanEst led the Muskies with a two-game total of 447. Tyler Harris added games of 210 and 203 for a 413 series.


The Muskie bowlers host Davenport West on January 12th at the Rose Bowl starting at

5 PM.
