River City Showcase - January 16th

There will be a public premiere for RCR on Monday, January 11 in the MHS Auditorium. Doors will open at 8 PM with the performance starting at 8:30 PM. This year's theme is Masquerade. Free will donations will be accepted with proceeds going towards an overnight stay during their Broadhead, WI competition.

Morrow and Cole Receive Volleyball Academic All-State
Macy Morrow and Victoria Cole. An ACT score of 27 or higher and a 4.0 GPA is the criteria for this award.

Schemmel Named to All-Iowa Girls' Swimming Team
Sarah Schemmel was named to the Des Moines Register All-Iowa Girl's Swimming Elite Team over winter break. Sarah took first in the 50 and 100 freestyle at the State Meet and was named State Swimmer of the Year. Sara attends Durant High School but swims for the Muskies. Congratulations Sarah!

Muskie Girls Undefeated
The Varsity girls beat Davenport Central Tuesday night with total pins of 2911 to 2476. Christin Swank shot her season best two-game series with games of 235 and 226 for a 461 series. Ragan Carey had games of 215 and 175 for a 390 two game series.
The Varsity boys also beat Davenport Central with a total of 2838 to 2699. Jon VanEst led the Muskies with a two-game total of 447. Tyler Harris added games of 210 and 203 for a 413 series.
The Muskie bowlers host Davenport West on January 12th at the Rose Bowl starting at
5 PM.
