Peek At The Week!
Week of 1/20/20
Our New VISION Statement for Peace Dale Elementary School!!
Graduates of Peace Dale Elementary School are inspired, curious and self-directed learners that are caring citizens, able to use a growth mindset to make positive changes in their lives and the lives of others.
Principal's Message...
This week, we will be conducting our mandatory lock down drill for January. Please be sure to review all lockdown procedures with students, especially what students should do, if they find themselves out of the classroom during a drill. Members of our safety committee will be assigned areas of the building to check doors to be sure they are locked. When the drill is over, I will make an announcement over the PA system signaling the end of the drill. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this drill, please reach out.
There is a lot of information in this week's Peek-At-The-Week, and so I would like to make my principal's message short. As we take time today to honor and celebrate Dr. Martin L. King, please know that I see an abundance of heart and determination, as this community comes together to educate all children. My heart swells with pride. Each student has their own barriers to overcome to be successful and as their teacher, I know you are there for all of it. Thank you. Each of you represents the true essence of what it means to be a teacher- a dedicated & committed learner.
Wishing everyone a great week,
~Kim
