Just For You...

I hope everyone has an enjoyable Spring Break! It sounds like some of the kiddos are heading to warmer weather or traveling out of state so have safe travels!

I know that you and your child do not want to think about homework over Spring Break :) but I do want to give a heads up for when we get back. Tuesday's homework of reading a story will look different. Each student will get a book (in a baggy) on or slightly above their reading level on Tuesday. They of course will need to read it to someone in their family (multiple readings is encouraged). You will also find a paper inside the bag with a note and space for an adult to sign off stating they have listened to him/her read the story. The book, bag, and slip will need to be turned back in on Friday along with any other homework. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

On Tuesday this past week we had 2 Indy 500 Princesses come and visit our Kindergarten classrooms. The students were super excited to hear them read stories and tell us about what they do and represent. Hopefully the girls crowns/tiaras, and the boys cars made it home in one piece!

Just a reminder that $5.00 is due at the beginning of the month to help cover snacks in the classroom. We greatly appreciate those that have already donated snacks or gave their money!
